Despite a slight shift in flight routes, air traffic in Cozumel remains consistent. Between July 1 and 7, the city is set to receive 83 flights from various American and Mexican cities. Approximately 5,300 passengers are expected, contributing to an estimated economic boost of over 64.5 million pesos.

Saturday continues to be the busiest day for air travel, with 15 incoming flights. Tuesday and Sunday will see 12 flights each, while Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will each have 11. The cities with the most connections to Cozumel are Houston and Mexico City, each with 14 flights. Dallas and Miami follow with seven flights each. Additionally, there are three scheduled flights from Monterrey, and one each from Charlotte, Austin, and Denver.

Cozumel also operates an air bridge with Cancún, offering five daily flights. This amounts to 35 flights over the week, each with a capacity of 12 passengers. Based on an average of 110 passengers per flight, each staying for 4.5 days and spending an average of 160 dollars per day, the estimated economic impact is 64,627,200 pesos. This figure does not include the additional economic contribution from the 35 flights to and from Cancún.

As of now, no flight cancellations or changes have been announced due to the potential impact of Hurricane "Beryl". The storm is expected to hit the island with tropical storm force early next Friday.
