Cozumel Port, which was closed for two days due to Hurricane Beryl, has now reopened. As of 6 AM Saturday, all types of vessels and recreational water activities are once again permitted.

However, the maritime community is urged to exercise extreme caution and pay close attention to instructions from the port authority.

The reopening of the port also marks the resumption of federal maritime passenger and cargo routes between Cozumel and the mainland. These routes had been suspended for two days, effectively isolating the island.
