Day Zero Tulum 2025 is set to take place in the mystical jungles of Tulum on January 11, 2025. Already, over 70% of the festival's capacity has been filled. Day Zero Tulum, a unique celebration, was first established in 2012, coinciding with the end of the Mayan calendar.

Music enthusiasts from across the globe have come together year after year for this event. The aim is to reflect on the past year and revitalize a collective energy that stems from the juxtaposition of the ancient and the modern, the creative, and the hedonistic. This is how Day Zero came into existence, a grand celebration brought to life by Damian Lazarus and his team.

The festival will return on January 11, 2025, boasting one of its most impressive lineups yet. By blending Mayan culture with natural beauty, Day Zero offers attendees a unique, avant-garde experience in the heart of Tulum's jungles. The festival makes full use of the enchanting natural environment, featuring laser shows that cut through the vegetation, immersive artistic installations scattered throughout the venue, and traditional ceremonies led by local Mayan guides to pay homage to the ancient cultures celebrated by the festival.

Damian Lazarus' expert curation is evident in the dusk-to-dawn lineup, which includes innovative artists and live acts that represent the forefront of electronic music. This year's lineup includes pioneers like Fatboy Slim, Amapiano Major League DJz, club legend DJ Harvey, Berlin's Patrick Mason, SCI+TEC label head Dubfire, and New York house icon Victor Calderone. A special guest is also set to be announced soon.

The opening ceremony will be conducted by Sidartha Siliceo, setting the stage for a magical night. Day Zero continues to show its commitment to respecting the sacred land it occupies by collaborating with the local community and Mayan spiritual leaders through its Crosstown Consciousness programme. The programme includes initiatives such as converting plastic waste into fuel with Mexican company Petgas, restoring coral barriers with the SOS SEAS project, supporting a local children's music school, cleaning beaches, and reforesting areas of Tulum.

Day Zero serves as a haven for electronic music enthusiasts, bringing attendees together in a space of connection, tradition, and cultural respect. While other events may try to replicate it, there is only one Day Zero. Its magical essence awaits you in January 2025.
