GRUESOME DISCOVERY: Body Found Near Mayan Train Bridge

A decomposed body was discovered near the Mayan Train Bridge in the Póxila district of the municipality of Umán. A worker made the grim discovery while venturing into the nearby woods.

The body, believed to be of a man around 60 years old, was found on the federal Umán-Poxilá highway, near the Mayan Train Bridge. The body was lifeless and in an advanced state of decomposition.

Upon discovery, the worker promptly reported the situation to emergency services. Officers from the Coordinated Municipal Police of Umán arrived at the scene to confirm the report. They subsequently notified the Prosecutor's Office and the Forensic Medical Service to initiate the necessary investigations.
