A man named Óscar “N” was arrested in the Cecilio Chi neighborhood of Felipe Carrillo Puerto by the Secretariat of Citizen Security. The arrest occurred during a routine surveillance operation.
While patrolling Santiago Pacheco Cruz Avenue, the officers noticed a motorcyclist carrying a black cloth bag. The man attempted to hide the bag under his shirt and accelerated upon seeing the police, driving erratically. The officers managed to catch up with him and conducted a search.
During the inspection, they discovered ten ziploc bags filled with a substance resembling dry marijuana. Four of these bags were labeled with the names “Fajer”, “Lolo”, “Vinilo”, and “Nenuco”. In addition to this, they found eight small bags of an orange powder, believed to be crystal meth, and another package of a solid crystalline substance of the same drug.
The officers also confiscated five transparent and pink ziploc bags containing a beige solid substance, thought to be crack. Other items seized included a red Vento brand motorcycle with Quintana Roo plates, a black cloth bag marked with the phrase “Beware of the dog”, and a blue Redmi cell phone.
Following the arrest, Óscar “N” was transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office Specializing in the Combat of Retail Drug Trafficking for further processing.
