A dump truck from the "José Quian Chan" union overturned at the entrance of Xcaret Park this Wednesday afternoon, resulting in injuries to two individuals. The truck was traveling east on the internal circuit of Xcaret when the driver found the brakes to be unresponsive as he approached a sloped curve.
Unable to slow down, the truck took the curve at an excessive speed, leading to the vehicle overturning. Civil Protection paramedics were quick to arrive at the scene, providing immediate assistance to the injured driver and passenger. Both individuals required further medical attention and were transported to a nearby clinic.
In response to the incident, park security promptly cordoned off the area. A crane was brought in to remove the overturned vehicle.
