The towns of Tulum and Solidaridad, which are part of the Local District Council XII, have received a combined total of 325,306 municipal election ballots and 90,960 deputy ballots. The delivery, which was initially delayed by over a day, took place on Saturday at approximately 3:00 p.m. The shipment, escorted by the Armed Forces, contained the necessary materials for the upcoming municipal presidencies and local deputies election on June 2nd.

The ballot boxes were delivered to the warehouse of the Electoral Institute of Quintana Roo (Ieqroo) headquarters in Tulum, situated on Acuario Street, nestled between Tulum and Sol avenues. Representatives from various political parties were present from the time of arrival to departure, signing off on the receipt of the ballots.

In addition to the ballots, the shipment also included scrutiny and calculation records, vote classifiers, incident sheets, ballot boxes, bases, and other essential materials for election day. The process, overseen by Leobardo Medina Xix, president of the District Council XII of the Electoral Institute of Quintana Roo, spanned over two hours.
