Eric "Pitbull" Gamboa, hailing from Cancun, delivered a stunning performance at the "Ricky-Box" event at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya hotel. In a thrilling main event, Gamboa defeated Ernesto "Temible" Garcia with a technical knockout in the fourth round of an eight-round bantamweight match. The fight was intense from the start, with Gamboa sending Garcia to the canvas in the first round.

Garcia managed to recover in the second round, causing a cut on Gamboa's face. However, Gamboa kept his cool and maintained control of the fight. The third round was marked by a fierce exchange of power between the two fighters.

In the fourth round, Gamboa's strength was evident. He managed to escape a tough spot before cornering Garcia and ending the fight with a powerful technical knockout. Garcia, a boxer from Jalisco, required medical attention following the knockout but later demanded a rematch. The event was a collaborative effort between TM Boxing, the Solidaridad government, the Municipal Sports Institute, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, local representative Gilberto Gómez Martínez, and Boxing Shop promoter Patricia Fajardo.

The co-main event saw Emiliano Toscano from Mexico City defeat Venezuelan Juan Mancilla in a unanimous decision after eight rounds in the super bantamweight division. In another bantamweight match, Ana Miramon Villalba won by split decision against Paulette Valenzuela. Daniel Valle de León from Playa del Carmen secured his fourth undefeated fight in the 67-kilo division with a technical knockout against José del Ángel from Chetumal in the second round. In the super flyweight division, Luz Elena Martínez defeated Jacqueline Calvo with a technical knockout in the fourth round.

Other notable results from the night included Armando Perez Mosso's third-round knockout victory against José "El Duro" Muñoz, and Luis Perez Mosso's first-round knockout win against Samuel Reyes.

The inaugural Rockn-Box night began with Canal 6 narrating the fights, featuring champions Jackie Nava and Rafael Márquez alongside Lalo Camarena. The opening match saw Juan Luis Castillo win by split decision against Fernando Trujillo in a four-round welterweight bout, setting the tone for a successful event.
