The family of an individual who was involved in an accident at Founders Park in Playa Del Carmen a year and seven months ago is seeking justice. They are calling on President Claudia Sheimbaum Pardo to ensure that those responsible are held accountable and provide compensation.

The accident occurred during an anniversary event organized by the City Council. The council, being the main party responsible, appointed a lawyer from the DIF to manage the case. Initially, they neglected their responsibility.

The victim, Noé González, suffered a spinal column fracture that was not initially diagnosed. He has since undergone three surgeries, all funded by the state and municipal government. Despite this, the victims are living in a state of uncertainty. They have no means of generating income for a potential fourth operation or to maintain a decent standard of living.
