Tragic Hit-and-Run in Playa del Carmen: Motorcyclist Killed

A devastating incident took place in Playa del Carmen just as Monday, May 13th, was beginning. A motorcyclist was fatally struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident. Early reports suggest the tragedy happened near the Toyota dealership on Playa del Carmen Boulevard, just past the Liverpool roundabout.

The motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle, the driver of which immediately fled the scene. The victim, believed to be a worker on his way to Puerto Aventuras after finishing his shift, did not survive the collision and was declared dead at the scene.

Local authorities are now conducting a thorough investigation to identify and locate the driver responsible for the fatal accident. They are urging any witnesses to come forward and provide any information that could aid in their investigation.
