A violent incident occurred at a bar in Tulum when a man, fleeing from armed individuals, sought refuge inside. Tragically, one person was killed and four others were injured at the Carine Swing establishment. The victims were caught in the crossfire, leading to fears that the death toll could potentially rise.
The attack took place in the Centro district, catching both patrons and staff off guard with the sudden gunfire. Local authorities and emergency services were quick to respond to the situation.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while four others sustained injuries. Among the injured, two are in serious condition. The assailants managed to evade capture and authorities are currently conducting operations to locate and apprehend them.
