Fernanda Alvear Promises Revolutionary Budgeting Plan for Puerto Morelos

Fernanda Alvear Palacios, a candidate for the Presidency of Puerto Morelos from the "Fuerza y Corazón" coalition for Quintana Roo, has pledged to implement the Municipal Participatory Budgeting Program (PROMUPREPA), establish a Tourism Commission and allocate a budget for national and international promotion. She also promises to modernize and digitize procedures.

Alvear Palacios, representing both the PRI and PAN, stated that the implementation of PROMUPREPA would begin immediately under her administration. The program aims to allow local committees and officials to assess and determine how public funds, amounting to over 600 million pesos, will be used effectively.

During her campaign, Alvear Palacios met with residents to discuss their neighborhood needs and grievances. She presented her comprehensive proposal for transparency, ensuring that all citizens can access their entitled benefits, regardless of their political preference or public service role.

Furthermore, Alvear Palacios emphasized that her government's transparency proposal includes initiating municipal public hearings. This program would allow any citizen to directly communicate with their municipal president and all public officials, without any discrimination.
