Tax-related issues often pose a challenge for entrepreneurs and business owners, sometimes even becoming a nuisance. While staying informed about taxpayer obligations and rights can mitigate these issues, many people lack the time for such research. To simplify these processes for business founders, the Tulum government is hosting the Quintana Roo Economic Development Fair. Here, entrepreneurs will receive the necessary tools to understand the processes they need to be familiar with.

WHERE WILL THE TAX CONSULTATIONS FOR TULUM ENTREPRENEURS TAKE PLACE?

During the fair, tax consultations will be provided by experts on the Tax Administration Service (SAT). The aim is to equip business owners with the fundamental knowledge they need to run their businesses and pay taxes. To participate, attendees should head to the "Dos Aguas" park dome on March 26, 2025, between 10:00 and 15:00. This free program is organized by the Quintana Roo government, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Economic Development and the State Secretariat of Economic Development. At the venue, there will be booths explaining the procedures, obligations, and requirements related to the SAT. The consultation is free and open to anyone who visits the dome.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ENTREPRENEURS AT THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FAIR?

In addition to tax consultations, the fair will feature specialized personnel offering a variety of services to help businesses grow. The full list of services includes:

  • Business networking
  • Program and loan registration
  • Training course registration
  • Crafts pavilion
  • Brand registration with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI)
