The "Felipe Carrillo Puerto" International Airport in Tulum, Quintana Roo, now has a new office for processing Mexican passports for both tourists and locals. This service, provided by the State Tourism Secretariat (SEDETUR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SER), has been available since May 5. It operates from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 18:00. The aim of this new facility is to simplify and expedite the process of obtaining a Mexican passport for those arriving at the recently opened air terminal. It's important to note that, like other offices of the Mexican Foreign Ministry, no personal account payments or deposits are required to schedule an appointment for passport processing.
