DOUBLE STRIKE: Hurricane Beryl to Hit Twice!

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has predicted that Hurricane Beryl will make landfall on the southeast coasts of the country twice. The National Water Commission (Conagua) provided further details in a press conference on Monday.

Beryl is expected to first hit the Yucatan Peninsula as a category 1 or 2 hurricane by the end of this week. It will then continue its path towards the southeast of the country, intensifying to a category 4 hurricane.

The first impact is predicted to occur on Thursday night or early Friday morning. The second strike is forecasted to take place in the Gulf of Mexico states, either on Sunday night or Monday.
