In a recent crackdown in Cozumel and Chetumal, the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) executed seven search warrants, leading to the seizure of numerous doses of illegal drugs. Six of these operations took place in Isla de las Golondrinas, with the remaining one conducted in the state capital.

Three men were arrested near the raided properties. The suspects, identified as Jorge Martin "N", Jesus Adolfo "N", and Guirian Jesus "N", are believed to be part of criminal groups involved in the sale and distribution of drugs in the municipality of Cozumel. All three have been handed over to the Public Ministry.

The first four raids were carried out on Doctor Alfonso Rosado Salas Street, in the Adolfo López Mateos neighborhood of Cozumel. Additional operations took place on Isla de las Golondrinas, specifically at properties on 1 Sur Street in the Juan Bautista Vega neighborhood. The Chetumal raid occurred on Vallehermoso Street in the October 17th neighborhood.

The exact quantities of the seized illegal substances have not been disclosed. At the conclusion of the operations, all raided premises were officially sealed.
