La Familia Bakery Enhances Production & Quality with Upgraded Equipment

The "La Familia" bakery, a key contributor to the DIF Quintana Roo system's fundraising efforts for social aid programs, has recently upgraded its facilities. New kneading machines, ovens, refrigerators, and transport equipment have been installed, courtesy of the local government's commitment to social progress and anti-corruption.

Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa, alongside the honorary president of the DIF, Verónica Lezama Espinosa, toured the newly renovated and expanded areas of "La Familia". The bakery now boasts well-equipped spaces for producing a variety of sweet and savory breads, desserts, and snacks, all contributing to their self-generated funds.

Governor Lezama praised the bakery's offerings, stating, "This delicious-looking and tasting bread is made with a lot of love and a special ingredient of empathy from the bakers and all the staff who work here." She encouraged the residents of Quintana Roo to support the bakery by purchasing its wide range of products.

The bakery's goods can be found at the Siglo XX street branch, located between Onésimo Poot and Calle 8 in the Milenio neighborhood. Alternatively, customers can visit the DIF cafeteria, the CRIT, or the branch at the Explanada de La Bandera. Orders can also be placed over the phone by calling 983 167 3527.
