Rodrigo N, who was recently sentenced to a 10-year prison term, has submitted a petition for protection to a court in Playa del Carmen. Rodrigo N gained notoriety for his brutal assault on Roberto González, a case that earned him the moniker #LordCoward.

The Seventh District Court received Rodrigo N's plea for protection. He is requesting a review of the measures imposed during his trial, which concluded last September. The trial found him guilty of assault against Roberto González.

The plea for protection was lodged against the measures that were imposed on January 22nd, according to the agreement issued by the federal judge last Friday. The case in question, which relates to the investigation file ending 53/2017, was for the crime of assault.

Last September, the Accusatory Penal System's Trial Court in Playa del Carmen sentenced Rodrigo "N" to 10 years in prison for his attack on the victim. The court also imposed a financial penalty of 137 days, equivalent to 10,300 pesos.

Despite these rulings, Rodrigo "N" did not appeal the sentence. This was confirmed through searches of his case file in the Eighth and Ninth Chambers Specializing in Criminal Matters of the Judicial Power of Quintana Roo. These chambers have jurisdiction in the judicial district of Playa del Carmen.
