A man under the influence of alcohol was stabbed at Fundadores Beach. Upon realizing his injury, he quickly sought assistance from nearby Tourist Police officers, who promptly called for an ambulance.
The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. yesterday. An emergency call was made to 911, requesting an ambulance for a man who had been stabbed in the stomach at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Juarez Avenue.
Tourist Police officers in the vicinity immediately responded to the injured man's plea for help. They attempted to provide aid while also trying to identify the assailant. It's believed the incident occurred during a brawl, as the beach is a frequent spot for individuals who drink excessively.
Paramedics from the Red Cross arrived at the scene, administered first aid, and transported the man to a local hospital. Fortunately, his injuries were not severe, and his life was not in immediate danger.
