María Fernanda Beltrán, the newly crowned Miss Mexico 2024, is set to represent the state of Sinaloa in the esteemed Miss Universe competition. The crowning ceremony was held at an event live-streamed on YouTube, featuring representatives from all Mexican states. Beltrán stood out in the final round, alongside four other contenders: Mariana Macías from Michoacán, Lorena Sevilla from Colima, Karen Bustos from San Luis Potosí, and Aranza Molina from Tabasco.
Beltrán, who was crowned by reigning Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios, has a distinguished modeling career at the age of 24. She also has a strong academic background in Marketing and Communication. Fluent in multiple languages, she has launched a campaign against cyberbullying, inspired by her personal experience of online harassment.
Hailing from Culiacán, Beltrán expressed her enthusiasm about representing Mexico in the Miss Universe pageant, scheduled for November 16th at the CDMX Arena. With over 134,000 followers on Instagram, she aims to honor the title of Miss Mexico and create a positive societal impact as she prepares for the international competition.
