The Department of Sustainable Environment and Climate Change is inviting the public to join the Green Kilo and Croquetón initiative. This event, which is aimed at promoting environmental care and feeding the dogs at the Animal Wellness Center, is scheduled for May 17.

This time, the event will be held in two locations: the park in the El Petén subdivision, situated on Avenida del Carmen between Colombia Street and Caracas Street, and the park in the Palmas 1 subdivision, located on Las Palmas boulevard with Avestruces Street. The event will run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

For every kilogram of dog food donated at the collection points, participants will receive a regional ornamental plant or tree as a token of appreciation.

Participants are also encouraged to bring clean, separated, and bagged recyclable materials such as cardboard, electronics, PET containers, and plastic.
