A social media campaign is gaining traction among Mexican football fans, urging a boycott of Liga MX stadium attendance. This protest is a response to perceived mismanagement by soccer administrators. The fans' growing dissatisfaction stems from the quality of the tournament and the performance of the Mexican National Team.

The fans attribute their discontent to several factors. One of these is the increasing number of foreign players, which they believe is hindering opportunities for young Mexican talent. Additionally, the removal of the promotion and relegation system has led to a perceived stagnation in the competition, further fueling the fans' frustration.

The campaign, encapsulated by the message "Do not go to the stadiums!", has garnered the support of thousands of social media users. These supporters are keen to push for change in Mexican football management. The initiative extends beyond Liga MX to the national team's matches, where fans are also beginning to abstain from attendance as a form of protest.

This trend has been evident in recent matches. For instance, at a friendly match against New Zealand held at the Rose Bowl, only 25,000 spectators were present in a stadium with a 92,000 capacity. Similarly, the match against Canada saw the lowest attendance in the history of AT&T Stadium, with only 32,623 fans present.

The campaign resonates with a community that is hungry for change. Fans are calling for more competitive, high-quality football, a new format that prioritizes sportsmanship over economics, and an environment that values and develops Mexican players.

Despite the growing outcry on social media, Mexican football executives have not yet officially responded to these demands. This silence leaves fans in a state of uncertainty about the future of Mexican football.
