The Quintana Roo government has set up mobile units to expedite the processing of driving licenses. These units are located at various points throughout the region, allowing residents to register and apply for their licenses. The cost of each license varies depending on the type of identification required and the location of the mobile unit, as prices differ between municipalities.
The Quintana Roo government has confirmed that two mobile units will be operational on Thursday, April 10, and Friday, April 11. These units are designed to simplify the application process and make it more accessible for residents.
On Friday, April 11, the mobile unit will be located at the Delegation in the town of Akumal, Tulum, Quintana Roo. Services will be available from 10:00 to 15:00, depending on demand.
On Thursday, April 10, the mobile unit will be at the Domo in the town of Calderitas, Othón P. Blanco. Services will be available from 9:00 to 14:00, allowing residents to process their driving licenses.
REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING A DRIVING LICENSE IN QUINTANA ROO
- Voter's ID.
- CURP.
- Proof of address.
- Eye exam.
- Expired license or driving certificate.
- Medical examination.
- Six-reactive toxicological test.
- Authorization sheet from the union or group to which the applicant belongs.
The last two requirements are specifically for those applying for types B, C, and E driving licenses. All other applicants must meet the remaining requirements.
