A van belonging to businessman Pepe Gómez, worth five million pesos, was recently recovered by the State's Attorney General's Office. The Mercedes-Benz van was found abandoned at the Kuiki Motel, situated in region 239 along Tulum's diagonal and the 20th of November.

Authorities had been monitoring the van since Thursday afternoon. Initial reports suggest that the driver of the van entered the Kuiki Motel on Thursday afternoon. However, when law enforcement arrived, the vehicle was discovered in the garage of one of the rooms, but the driver was no longer on the premises.

The search for the vehicle intensified when authorities lost track of it. Surveillance cameras eventually helped them locate the vehicle and confirm its presence at the Kuiki Motel. This recovery operation is part of a broader initiative to improve security in the region and to understand why the van was left at this location.

Currently, the driver's location and the reasons for abandoning the vehicle at the motel remain unknown. The State's Attorney General's Office is continuing its investigation to clarify the circumstances and to determine if this incident is linked to any illegal activities.
