“Exclusive: National Guard Raids Cancún Airport for Unauthorized Vehicles”

The National Guard conducted a surprise operation at Cancún International Airport today. The operation aimed to prevent unauthorized UBER units and private vehicles from entering the airport terminals.

The operation was based on the main road that leads from the traffic distributor to the FBO terminal, which is located in the federal section. The goal was to identify vehicles providing passenger and tourism services without the necessary permits. This includes platforms like UBER, which do not have authorization to operate passenger services at Cancún airport.

As a result of the operation, National Guard members identified nine vehicles operating without permits during the peak season.

This operation is part of a series of actions by the National Guard to promote trust and safety in Quintana Roo's tourism sector. The National Guard is committed to ensuring that only authorized concessions can operate in areas with high tourist traffic, thereby ensuring a safe and regulated service for visitors.
