The National Magic Towns Marketplace 2024 in Boca del Río, Veracruz, set new records for participation and results, showcasing the cultural and tourist treasures of Mexico. The event, now in its sixth year, brought together 177 Magic Towns and 34 Magic Neighborhoods, marking a significant milestone in promoting tourism in Mexico. The marketplace has become an essential platform for promoting Mexican culture and tourism, breaking all previous records for participation and results.

Mexico's diverse culture and heritage are central to its national identity, and this marketplace serves as a meeting point for traditions and opportunities. Miguel Torruco Marqués, Mexico's Secretary of Tourism, reported that this year's event attracted over 65,100 visitors, 2,415 exhibitors, and 215 buyers from across the country and overseas. Additionally, more than 14,945 business appointments took place.

With an economic impact of 59 million pesos, the marketplace exceeded expectations and set a new benchmark for celebrating Mexican culture and traditions. In his opening speech, Marqués, alongside Veracruz's governor-elect Rocío Nahle García, highlighted the importance of representation from all 32 states and the participation of indigenous towns.
