On Saturday, February 15th, Espartans Producciones will celebrate their first anniversary with the help of Lucha Libre Cancún (LLC). The event, "Octagon Mania", will take place at the traditional "Arena Colonos" in SM 89. The event promises a unique and exciting line-up of matches.
One of the main highlights of the night will be the appearance of the legendary Mexican wrestler, Octagon, also known as the "Master of the Eight Angles". He will be joined by the Son of Octagon and Octagoncito, to face the formidable trio known as the "Sons of the Street", comprising of Corsario Jr, Rey Espartano, and Tizoc.
In addition to this, the Quintana Roo State Pairs Championship will be taking place on the same night. An inclusive royal rumble is also on the cards, featuring eight male wrestlers and one female wrestler, all competing for the inaugural "Espartans Producciones Cup".
The event was announced by the head of LLC, Amador Gutiérrez Guigui, along with wrestlers Rey Espartano, Corsario Jr., Alma de Oro, Axtar, Joker, Gran Tigre and Corsario NG. Also present were Armando Góngora, representative of the Benito Juarez Boxing, Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts Commission, David Aguilar, press conference host, and Ángel Panti, producer of Central de Medios México.
On the day of the event, a "Meet and Greet" will take place at 1:00 PM at the Central de Medios México facilities, located in the Krystal Urban Hotel. A select group of fans will have the opportunity to meet the star wrestlers of the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
Further activities include an event at the KHAN restaurant at 3:00 PM, and interactive activities with dolphins at Dolphin Connection on Friday 14th. A pre-event press conference will also be held at Pancracio in the Hotel Zone.
The main event on Saturday, February 15th at 8:00 PM at the "Arena Colonos" in SM 89 will feature the "Octagon Mania" team of Octagon, Son of Octagon and Mini Octagoncito, taking on the "Sons of the Street" – Corsario Jr., Tizoc, and Rey Espartano.
The semi-final will see a tag team match with the Son of Alebrije and Alma de Oro facing off against Black Terror Jr. and Joker. The Quintana Roo Pairs Championship will see Duende Maya and Axtar take on Infierno and Gran Tigre. The evening will kick off with a royal rumble featuring Corsario NG, Lunático, Arialis, Chiquitín, Átomo, Kaótico, Ángel de la Muerte, Código, and Mujer Salvaje Jr.
