“Clean Streets Campaign in Villamar, Catalonia, and Tuscany – Don’t Miss Out!”

In an effort to maintain clean streets and avenues, and to prevent the spread of mosquito breeding sites, an ongoing waste collection campaign is being conducted in Villamar, Catalonia, and Tuscany. The campaign will be active from Monday to Saturday throughout May, operating from 6:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon.

The Solidaridad City Council encourages all residents to take advantage of this initiative to dispose of their large waste items that cannot be collected by regular garbage trucks. Specialized vehicles, such as dump trucks and flatbed trucks, are being used for this collection.

Common items collected during this campaign include wood, furniture, debris, and logs. This initiative also serves as a preventative measure against mosquito-borne diseases, such as dengue, zika, and chikungunya.

For more information about the waste collection campaign, residents can call 984-877-3050 ext. 10020.
