“Discover Xcaret: 280+ Artisans Unite at Mexican Folk Art Fair”

The inaugural Xcaret Mexican Folk Art Fair is set to host over 280 esteemed artisans and up-and-coming talents, showcasing their works. From September 19 to 22, Xcaret Park will welcome the fair, aimed at preserving and promoting Mexican folk art. Notably, exhibitors will not be charged a registration fee and will keep all proceeds from their sales. They will also receive guidance on financial, legal, and social media management to help develop new business models.

XCARET MEXICAN FOLK ART FAIR ANNOUNCED IN MEXICO CITY AND QUINTANA ROO

The Government of Quintana Roo in Mexico City hosted a panel featuring some of the artisans participating in the fair's first edition. The panel included Bernardo Camacho Quiroz, a glazed clay ceramic craftsman from Metepec; Hermilo López, a rebozo weaver from Tenancingo; Leonardo Linares, an alebrije craftsman from Mexico City; and René Ángeles Navarro, a craftsman specializing in inlaid woodwork.

The inaugural fair will be held at the Hacienda Henequenera in Xcaret Park, from 10:30 to 19:30. Over 280 master craftsmen and women from Mexico, both renowned and emerging, will gather to display and sell their creations to collectors, interior decorators, and Mexican art enthusiasts.
