Youth Padel Tournament Inspires Voting in Yucatan

A special tournament titled "Go Out and Vote" was hosted at All 4 Padel Merida yesterday. The event aimed to inspire young people to participate in the upcoming June 2nd elections.

The tournament was organized by Victor Manuel Abraham Chapur, president of the Young Commission of Coparmex Merida. His goal was to motivate the youth, particularly, to play an active role in the elections.

Abraham encouraged young people to exercise their right to vote, emphasizing that it is important to vote irrespective of party affiliations, candidates, or positions. He stressed, "You have to vote so that you can demand."

The tournament saw participation from 24 couples. It kicked off at 3 pm and concluded after 7 pm. The closing ceremony involved awarding prizes to the winning couples, which included restaurant vouchers and packages from sponsors.

In total, prizes worth 15 thousand pesos were distributed.
