Pedro Joaquín, a candidate for the Fuerza y Corazón por Quintana Roo alliance, has pledged to direct resources from the Environmental Sanitation Law towards the preservation of public spaces, beaches, and reefs in Cozumel. Joaquín, who is running for the presidency of Cozumel, emphasized that the region's natural resources, including its beaches, are among the most beautiful in the world.

In order to make these natural wonders more accessible, Joaquín plans to develop additional public spaces equipped with the necessary amenities and furnishings. This will allow both tourists and local families to better enjoy Cozumel's natural beauty.

In addition to his environmental commitments, Joaquín also reaffirmed his support for the female business sector. He recently participated in a virtual forum organized by the Coordinating Council of Business Women of Quintana Roo. During this event, Joaquín presented his campaign proposals, which are centered around four main areas of work.

These proposals, which Joaquín has been sharing with local communities throughout his campaign, aim to address the community's primary concern: safety. Joaquín plans to tackle this issue through a comprehensive strategy known as Escudo Cozumel.
