On Monday, June 28, COVID-19 vaccinations began for adults between 30-39 years old in Quintana Roo in the municipalities of Tulum, Isla Mujeres and Benito Juárez.
In Tulum the first dose of Sinovac will be applied from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon from Monday, June 28 to Thursday, July 1 and will be done according to age.
In Isla Mujeres, it will be administered from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon from Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1st.
Cancun, and surrounding areas of the Municipality of Benito Juarez will receive Astrazeneca vaccine on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 of June from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon and will be applied in the order of arrival.
Playa del Carmen and Puerto Aventuras in the municipality of Solidaridad, have already received the vaccine for the age group of 30-39.
It has been described as a well-organized process where authorities have been able to continue the vaccination of everyone that wishes to be vaccinated in their age group.
