The National Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Services in Playa del Carmen, led by President Adán Toledo Lucero, recently announced the upcoming 14th edition of Buen Fin. The event, scheduled for November 15th to 18th, is expected to feature approximately 158,000 businesses nationwide, all offering their products and services at discounted rates.

Buen Fin is an annual November event that provides widespread discounts on goods and services. The initiative aims to support the family economy, stimulate domestic market activity, increase formal trade, and uphold consumer rights.

National Advisor of the CONCANACO SERVYTUR Mexico, Dr. Octavio Albores Sol, highlighted that this event was an initiative of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce in Mexico. Since its inception in 2011, Buen Fin has seen consistent growth in business registration and consumer interest.

Dr. Sol acknowledged that the event initially faced challenges, such as non-compliance with offers and fraudulent activities. However, these issues have been addressed by PROFECO and other entities. To prevent fraud, participating companies are required to register with the CONCANACO SERVYTUR Mexico and the Ministry of Economy. They must list the goods or services they will offer and the corresponding discounts. These details are reviewed by the Federal Consumer Prosecutor's Office and the SAT to ensure consumers are presented with genuine deals.

The Chamber of Commerce extends an invitation to local businesses in Playa del Carmen to participate in the 14th edition of Buen Fin. Businesses can register on the official Buen Fin website, where they can list their name and the goods or services they will be offering during the event.
