The 28 de Julio square in Playa del Carmen was filled with color and music as the LGBTTTI 2024 march concluded. Over 17,000 people participated in the march, which took them through the city's main avenues. The march began at Juarez Avenue's Poliforum and ended at Quinta Avenue, drawing the attention of tourists. The marchers then proceeded to the city center's municipal palace.

The highlight of the evening was a concert by Paulina Rubio, scheduled for 9 p.m. This event was a celebration of diversity and respect for all individuals, regardless of their sexual preferences or gender identity. Lili Campos, the municipal president, was present at the march and spoke about the importance of inclusion. She stated, "Solidaridad is once again setting an example of inclusion and respect for all. We are reaffirming our commitment to diversity, and we are proud to have an artist of Paulina Rubio's caliber perform at our event."

Campos emphasized the importance of defending everyone's rights, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. "In Solidaridad, everyone's rights are respected. No one is discriminated against here," she said. Solidaridad is known for its commitment to inclusion, as demonstrated by the existence of a Department of Sexual Diversity and a City Council Commission of Sexual Diversity. The municipality also has inclusive patrols, which led the march from the Poliforum to the 28 de Julio square.

Before Rubio's performance, attendees enjoyed performances by local artists, ending a day dedicated to visibility and respect on a high note.
