Playa del Carmen, the vibrant hub of the Mexican Caribbean, is gearing up for one of its most eagerly awaited events of the year: the "Playa del Carmen Fair 2024: Legacy, Culture and Tradition". Scheduled from July 10 to 16, this event is set to be a memorable experience for both locals and tourists visiting this stunning region.

The Solidaridad government has arranged this fair, featuring a broad spectrum of cultural, recreational, and gastronomic activities. The fair will take place at various strategic locations in the city, including the newly refurbished Plaza 28 de Julio and the Fairgrounds.

One of the main highlights of the fair is the free concerts at Plaza 28 de Julio, where world-renowned artists will take the stage. The concert schedule includes:

  • Friday, July 12: The square will come alive with the performance of Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga.
  • Saturday, July 13: Alicia Villarreal will take the stage, captivating the audience with her charm and talent.
  • Monday, July 15: Carín León will conclude this series of spectacular performances, promising a memorable night for all attendees.

Besides the concerts, the Playa del Carmen Fair 2024 will offer a range of recreational and cultural activities at the Fairgrounds. These include:

  • The Traditional Horse Ride and the Ranch Party, which celebrate local customs and traditions.
  • A wide array of snacks to satisfy all taste buds.
  • Free mechanical games for children and adults to enjoy.
  • Performances at the People's Theater, featuring artists such as Paleto La Voz de la Cumbia, Omar Corona and his Norteño Band, Tila María Sesto, and a tribute to Dinamita, among others.
