SHOCKING: Playa del Carmen Nightclub Raided for Human Trafficking

The Baby’s Hot nightclub in Playa del Carmen was shut down by the State Attorney General's Office. The club, situated on Boulevard Playa del Carmen at the intersection with 4 Norte Street in the Ejido neighborhood, was closed during a police operation just before midnight on Thursday.

The closure was executed by the Special Prosecutor's Office for Combating Human Trafficking Crimes, as indicated by the seal placed on the property. However, details regarding the operation, such as the number of individuals rescued or detained, remain undisclosed.

The seal placed on the property bears the folio number 0062/2024 and case number 05/18/2024. This incident follows a similar closure less than 15 days ago. The 'La Consentida' nightclub, also located in the city, was shut down, resulting in the rescue of 17 women, 15 of whom were of Argentine nationality, and the detention of 3 men.
