Dengue Outbreak Reveals Puerto Arturo’s Health Crisis

The Puerto Arturo community is facing a severe lack of medical resources, including both doctors and medicines. This issue has been brought to light especially with the recent cases of dengue in the area.

One resident, Aristeo Chan, shared his personal experience of this problem. Over the weekend, he visited the local clinic due to flu symptoms. However, he found that the clinic was without any medical staff or medicines.

Chan was forced to travel to the municipal head to seek treatment at a hospital. He revealed that this illness had also affected other members of his family.

The lack of medical resources is a common issue for all residents of Puerto Arturo. Many are compelled to spend upwards of 500 pesos, sometimes even more, to receive treatment for any health issues.

Chan pointed out that the local authorities are partly to blame for this lack of medical resources. The rest of the article was cut off.
