“Magical Christmas Celebration Lights Up Puerto Aventuras”

The civic plaza of Puerto Aventuras, located in the southern part of Solidaridad county, was filled with holiday cheer as Mayor Estefanía Mercado lit up the Christmas tree. This event was part of the Magical Christmas program, a community initiative aimed at spreading joy, peace, and harmony among families during the holiday season. The lighting of the tree, accompanied by a countdown, filled the hearts of children and adults alike, as the multicolored lights illuminated the December night and brought warmth to their hearts.

The festivities reached a high point when the ice rink opened its doors. Children and young people were invited to skate in an atmosphere filled with the peace and harmony that characterizes the Christmas season. Mayor Estefanía Mercado also visited the large ice rink that the City Hall had set up for the residents of Solidaridad. The rink, along with an interactive balloon where children could play and learn, was one of three such facilities in the area, with the others located at the July 28th Plaza and the first park of Villas del Sol. These rinks are open from 6pm to 11pm.

The celebration continued with a performance by the artistic-musical group Mundo Mágico Infantil. They brought beloved characters such as The Little Mermaid, Sebastian, Mickey Mouse, Donald, Mimi, and Moana to the stage. Mayor Mercado was joined by Mayor Gilberto Gómez, city tourism secretary Estefanía Hernández, secretary of Economic Development and Investment Attraction Antón Bojórquez, and the director of IMCAS, Ernesto Martínez Cuéllar, along with members of the Cabildo.
