Quintana Roo Shines with Five Wins at 2024 Food Travel Readers Awards

Quintana Roo has once again made its mark in the global travel industry by earning five awards at the 2024 Food Travel Readers Awards. The Quintana Roo Tourism Secretariat (Sedetur), headed by Mara Lezama Espinosa, recently announced the region's achievements and extended congratulations to the award recipients.

La Mantequería, a bakery known for its specialty breads such as medialunas and croissants, was recognized as the Best Gourmet Space in Mexico. Meanwhile, Chablé Maroma, a highly-rated beach boutique hotel located in Playa Maroma, Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, was awarded the Best Beach Boutique Hotel.

The Best Wellness Experience award went to the Nizuc Resort and Spa, a luxury hotel complex situated in Cancun's Hotel Zone. The resort boasts 247 luxury villas and suites, all beautifully appointed with contemporary Mexican design.

The SE Spa of Grand Velas, a stunning hotel complex located in the Riviera Maya, was named the Best Spa. The fifth and final award, Best Hotel Restaurant, was given to Ha'. This acclaimed restaurant is led by renowned chef Carlos Gaytán and is situated within the Hotel Xcaret in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo.
