“Stay Safe on Quintana Roo’s Beaches: Governor’s Guidelines for Tourists”

Quintana Roo is set to welcome a surge of tourists this summer season. In response, state authorities have released a set of guidelines for those planning to visit the region's beaches. The state governor, Mara Lezama Espinosa, emphasized the importance of personal safety and precautionary measures when visiting the beaches.

Among the recommendations are the vigilant supervision of children and the elderly at all times. Visitors are also advised not to solely rely on floaters or life jackets for safety. It is strongly discouraged to enter the water under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, the use of suitable protection in open waters is highly recommended.

Governor Espinosa stressed the importance of taking these necessary precautions to prevent potential risks and incidents. The guidelines aim to ensure the safe enjoyment of the beautiful beaches of Quintana Roo during the holiday season.
