Quintana Roo has announced its readiness to support both Mexican nationals and foreigners who have been deported from the United States. Cristina Torres Gomez, the Secretary of Government for the state, has stated that a protocol is in place to offer employment opportunities to those who wish to relocate to the region.

Gomez emphasized that the federal government will be the first point of contact for immigrants, providing them with identification upon their arrival in the country.

Marisol Sendo Rodríguez, the head of the DIF in Benito Juárez, has also confirmed that the Social Assistance Center for Migrant Girls, Boys, and Adolescents is prepared to accommodate those who have been deported.

There is an expectation that foreign migrants may begin arriving in Cancun in the near future.
