The Judiciary of Quintana Roo, led by President Heyden Cebada Rivas, recently participated in the 4th Law Forum. The event was organized by the Bar Association of the Riviera Maya and the Council of ANADE Quintana Roo section. The forum is a crucial platform for legal dialogue and updates in the region, fostering continuous professional development for those in the legal field.

Leopoldo Cruz Navarro, the president of the Bar Association of the Riviera Maya, emphasized the forum's importance. The opening ceremony was presided over by Judge Heyden Cebada Rivas, who was joined by Judge Luis Gabino Medina and Justices Teresa Villa Velasco and Dulce María Balam Tuz.

During his speech, Judge Heyden Cebada Rivas spotlighted several pertinent topics in the current legal landscape. He underscored issues such as copyright, continuous education, and restorative justice. Restorative justice focuses on repairing harm and reintegrating the parties involved in a conflict, rather than simply enforcing punitive punishment.

Seizing the opportunity, Cebada Rivas invited the law students from over five different educational institutions present at the event to join the Judiciary. The forum also featured the esteemed participation of Estrella Alejandra Rios Perez, president of the ANADE Council Quintana Roo section. Numerous distinguished speakers and experts across various law disciplines shared their expertise and experiences with the attendees.
