“Tulum Launches Tender for 400 Golf Carts in City Center”

The Quintana Roo Mobility Institute (Imoveqroo) has launched a public tender for the operation of 400 golf carts in downtown Tulum. These vehicles are intended to be used for passenger transportation. The tender was officially published today, describing the service as a "vehicle rental transport service of all kinds."

Those interested in applying can submit their applications between September 12 and 19 at the Imoveqroo offices in Tulum and Chetumal. The tender document outlines the plan to provide Tulum's municipality with 400 golf-cart style vehicles. Each vehicle can accommodate up to six people, including the driver, and will operate in the city center.

Imoveqroo has clarified that the concession will be awarded based on the applicant's financial, technical, and administrative capabilities. The results of the tender will be announced within 15 business days after the application deadline. However, this period may be extended to 30 business days if more than 50 applications are received.
