The decapitated body of an unidentified man was discovered in the Monte Sinaí area of Puerto Aventuras. The body, which was found bound and discarded on a dirt road, prompted immediate action from local authorities.

Residents of the nearby Puerto Maya subdivision were the first to report the gruesome discovery. This report quickly triggered a swift response from the local police force.

Upon confirming the report, officers secured the area and immediately contacted the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).

Soon after, officials from the prosecution office arrived at the scene to begin their investigation. Following the necessary procedures, the body was eventually removed from the site.

The identity of the victim remains unknown. Local residents, when questioned, informed authorities that the victim was not from the area.
