The municipality of Solidaridad is planning to celebrate International Migrant's Day with the Ritmo Sin Fronteras festival. This event aims to showcase the cultural diversity of Playa del Carmen through food and music from 10 different countries.

Claudia Mendoza Gutierrez, the head of the Migrant Assistance Unit, announced that the festival will take place at Parque Fundadores. The festival will feature stands representing countries such as Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Jamaica, and Argentina. The event will start at 5 pm and is free for all attendees.

Gutierrez also noted that during the current administration, the Migrant Assistance Unit has conducted 79 advice sessions to help with naturalization procedures. These sessions have primarily assisted citizens from Argentina, Guatemala, and Honduras who have encountered issues like lost documents during their travels.

Additionally, the Migrant House in Puerto Aventuras has provided support to 19 individuals, including Mexican migrants from states such as Veracruz and Puebla.

The Ritmo Sin Fronteras festival is designed to celebrate multiculturalism and encourage community integration.
