Burglary Suspect Apprehended in Tulum Heist – Caught in the Act!

A man, believed to be around 30 years old, was apprehended while attempting to break into a home in the private Palmas neighborhood. Local residents spotted the man scaling a residential fence and promptly alerted the authorities via the 911 emergency hotline.

The suspect, clad in grey shorts and a turquoise shirt, appeared to be preparing to descend into a backyard, presumably with the intent to pilfer personal property. However, the arrival of the police prompted him to surrender. He descended from the fence where he had been spotted by the vigilant neighbors.

Following his surrender, the suspect was arrested and transported to the Public Ministry. A control judge is now expected to determine his legal status.
