The Mexican Navy, acting in its capacity as the Coast Guard, has reported the discovery and seizure of a suspicious package on the beaches of Solidaridad, Quintana Roo. The package, found by personnel from the Fifteenth Naval Zone of the Ninth Naval Region, was secured during a routine land surveillance patrol along the coastline near Paamul beach.

The package, which was oddly shaped and wrapped in black tape, was discovered to contain a white powder that bore a strong resemblance to cocaine. This led to its immediate confiscation by the naval personnel.

The seized package weighed approximately 1,002.7 grams. It has since been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and appropriate handling.
