Jesús “N”, also known as “Fiscalito”, has been arrested in Tulum. He is suspected of being a hitman and driver for a local criminal organization. Authorities believe he is connected to at least 14 homicides in the region.
"Fiscalito" is thought to have been involved in a triple homicide and the injuring of a fourth person that occurred on May 6 in the Maya neighborhood. This incident resulted in the death of Andrés Dzul, the brother of the late former mayor of Tulum, Marciano Dzul Caamal.
Additionally, authorities link "Fiscalito" to a violent incident on February 9 at a Tulum beach club. During this event, two foreigners, a man known as "Belice" who was allegedly a drug dealer, and a woman, were killed.
"Fiscalito" is also suspected of being involved in the murder of a security guard on March 15 of this year.
The arrest of Jesús “N” occurred on Gama Oriente street in Tulum. Four other individuals, Jacinto “N”, Heberto “N”, Leonardo “N” and Jorge Oliver “N”, were also arrested on suspicion of crimes related to drug possession. During the arrest, authorities confiscated bags of marijuana, methamphetamine, and crack, along with a 9 mm firearm, a loaded magazine, and a green tactical vest.
Investigations suggest that "Fiscalito" was actively working as a hitman and driver for a criminal group causing violence in Tulum. This group is believed to be involved in the sale and distribution of drugs in the area.
The arrested individuals and the seized evidence have been handed over to the public prosecutor, who will determine the legal proceedings.
