“Shocking Theft: Trash Containers Stolen in Cozumel!”

Cozumel, Q. Roo.- Recently, newly purchased trash containers, intended for installation in the central area of the island, were stolen. This was reported by the Director of Public Services, Luis Ocampo.

Ocampo stated that they are now designing locks to secure the remaining containers. These containers are designed with five compartments to facilitate waste separation.

There are 52 containers in total, which are planned to be distributed throughout the central area of the island. Ocampo emphasized that these containers are not being left unattended at their storage location, fire base two.
