Shocking Tulum Hotel Incident: Tourist’s Leap from Second Floor!

In Tulum, two tourists sparked an emergency response when one of them attempted to leap from a second-story window. The woman claimed she had been kidnapped, but it appears that the influence of an illegal substance had caused hallucinations.

The incident occurred just after midday at a vacation condo complex on Coba Avenue, situated next to a local Mexican supermarket warehouse. The emergency services received a call via the 9-1-1 center, reporting a woman's intention to jump from the second floor.

Firefighters were first on the scene, scaling the exterior of the building to prevent the woman from jumping. As they managed to avert the potential tragedy, another woman emerged from the building in a state of panic, desperately seeking help.

Police officers who were present at the scene detained and handcuffed the distressed woman to prevent her from causing harm to herself, as she appeared disoriented.

Paramedics from the Salud y Vida company were dispatched to the scene to assist the women. They were subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

It was determined that both tourists were under the influence of an illegal substance. Emergency crews ensured they received immediate medical attention to prevent any further self-inflicted injuries.
